Sorry to hear that Ubuntu One isn't working properly.
Could you attach the log files: ~/.cache/ubuntuone/log/syncdaemon* ?
e.g: in a terminal session run:
1) tar -cjf ~/Desktop/syncdaemon-logs.tar.bz2 ~/.cache/ubuntuone/log
2) upload the file: ~/Desktop/syncdaemon-logs.tar.bz2
