@a.azol, @madbiologist: what I am reporting here is specifically the crash in saving SaveAs2docCrash.odt file to .doc (i.e. madbiologist's use case #1).
I originally had the problem with a much larger document so I reduced it to the smallest possible file that would produce the crash and thus narrowed it down to the included diagram. A document that only contains the text can be saved to .doc normally. I provided the CrashTest.odg document as further context in case it can help identify the problem but you can ignore it for the purpose of reproducing the defect. Select Microsoft Word 97/2000/XP (.doc) in the file format drop down box, 4. Click Save. Expected result: - The document is saved in .doc format. + The document is saved in .doc format, including the embedded diagram. Actual result: OO crashes and notifies that the file will be recovered when started next.
