Even if this is fixed it still probably WON'T work due to bug #448811 (I recompiled the Kernel 2.6.31-17-generic). I have an Artec T1 with AN2235 and a Panasonic tuner and recompiled 2.6.31-17 from source too with the relevant switch and found it didn't work either.
