Binary package hint: xine-ui
If xine is used with polish locales set, there is no entry in the menu
to load a subtitle file.
To reproduce:
For the en_US locale, everything works fine:
- launch xine
- go to the main menu, Open/File and select a clip,
- go to the main menu, Open/Subtitle and select a subtitle for the clip.
Changing locale to pl_PL (polish):
export LANG=pl_PL
- launch xine
- go to Otwieranie/Plik (which corresponds to Open/File) and load the clip,
- there is no Otwieranie/Napisy (which should correspond to Open/Subtitles)
menu entry!!!
I checked the french and german translations and they seems to have the
menu entry.
