I run Kubuntu Karmic with Dolphin 4:4.3.4-0ubuntu1~karmic1 and see the same issue, also when only hovering an .mp4-file to see the quick-infos. It takes a looong time to until infos are displayed, meanwhile Dolphin eats lots of RAM.
