I might have a similar bug.
lenovo R61 Laptop

Symptoms: Using WPA-PSK to adsl wifi AP, all works fine, if i then have
a powerfailure and the AP reboot, the laptop/network manager refuses to
reconnect. It still sees the AP, but will not reconnect until i reboot.

I have tried to remove the wifi modules, switch the hardware wifi switch
on and off, but after reloading modules, it still won't connect, only a
reboot fixes.
