I might have a similar bug. lenovo R61 Laptop # uname -a Linux pumba 2.6.31-17-generic #54-Ubuntu SMP Thu Dec 10 16:20:31 UTC 2009 i686 GNU/Linux
# lspci 03:00.0 Network controller: Intel Corporation PRO/Wireless 3945ABG [Golan] Network Connection (rev 02) # lsmod | grep iw iwl3945 77372 0 iwlcore 112796 1 iwl3945 mac80211 181140 2 iwl3945,iwlcore led_class 4096 4 iwl3945,iwlcore,sdhci,thinkpad_acpi cfg80211 93052 3 iwl3945,iwlcore,mac80211 Symptoms: Using WPA-PSK to adsl wifi AP, all works fine, if i then have a powerfailure and the AP reboot, the laptop/network manager refuses to reconnect. It still sees the AP, but will not reconnect until i reboot. I have tried to remove the wifi modules, switch the hardware wifi switch on and off, but after reloading modules, it still won't connect, only a reboot fixes. -- wireless stops working until reboot https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/132042 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
