I see, I changed the url to the homepage of the project in the bug description I would like to provide similar patch, but I cant code - and I am not sure whether the info I provided is enough for identification, but other files in /var/lib/acpi-support/ are empty. However, if onyone produces a patch, I will gladly test it (i can compile even if I cant code)

Some info can be also found here: http://rfswitch.sourceforge.net/?page=laptop_matrix. + I have one of many laptops (Prestigio 157) whose hotkeys are driven with acerhk module. Full list can be seen here: http://www.cakey.de/acerhk/ with other additional informations. Some info can be also found here: http://rfswitch.sourceforge.net/?page=laptop_matrix. It would be nice if 1)acerhk would be made a package so that one does not have to install it manually 2)hotkey-setup were able to recognize it and use it on as many models as possible. As of now, user has to find somehow he needs acerhk so that these keys generates keyevents, then map them usinf xmodmap or something similar and than assigned them via keyboard shortcuts or gconf apps/metacity/global_keybindings. More detailed description of this can be found here: http://linux.cabspace.com/fujitsu/m7400.html - find section "keyboard." I realize this would mean a huge amount of work, but it would be nice if it worked out of the box - it took me many hours to find out how to get this working... -- change 'acerhk' to use 'autowlan=1' by default https://launchpad.net/bugs/53953 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
