Adept has often problems performing an upgrade to new release. Try with this: open a Konsole and insert the cd; run the following commands sudo apt-cdrom sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get upgrade sudo apt-get dist-upgrade sudo apt-get install kubuntu-desktop python-qt3 python-kde3 ubuntu-minimal
Remind to change all words "dapper" in "edgy" editing the file /etc/apt/sources.list (you must be root). Please report any other problems.
