Hi Pedro, Thanks for identifying this workaround for me. I implemented it this morning & it has resolved the problem.
I am a little bit disconcerted though. The web page says to remove .ev.summary & .ibex.index. However, only .ibex.index has been recreated. Is this to be expected? Can you tell me what would have caused the problem in the first place? This is the first time that I have experienced it in 5 years of using Ubuntu. Is it a bug somewhere, or is it triggered by a failure in one of the systems, or a power outage, or ... Does this e-mail satisfies your request "comment back if you filed a report about it", or should I update the bug report 509405, that I raised yesterday. Regards, Garry.
