I also get extremely slow CD/DVD read and write on three different systems under 9.10. Everything (including writing) works fine, just very slowly (much slower than under 9.04 or Windows XP) 1) Thinkpad T61p 2) Pentium 4 Shuttle system 3) Dell SFF system
