Hi, I did a new installation of Ubuntu to clear things up - and indeed - with packages and dependencies were installed correctly. So, I'm testing Openshot now. In the effects and filters are some very interesting features - on the other hand I found some strange artefacts by simple clip manipulations (Properties (Viedeo Fade in doesnt work correctly in my opinion (It fades from white not from black and seems to be a little inaccurate. I drilled down in the python code where I found some hints that it should work as expected (there is referenced to a black plane). But nevertheless - the installation problems may be caused to multiple installation of Mlt, ffmpeg and so on. CU Rupert
