Public bug reported:

When installing the libgmp3-dev package (version 2:4.3.1+dfsg-3) on
Ubuntu Lucid alpha 2, synaptic tries to install gcc 4.1.

But the default gcc for lucid is already gcc 4.4.

The libgmp3-dev package should either be updated to reflect the newer
compiler or be changed so that it does not depend on the compiler.
