Well I don't have a fix for this issue for myself, but I do have a work around. I've found that if I start up FF in safe mode and then do a "reset toolbars and controls" and then let FF startup I can then use my address bar normally, until I shutdown and restart FF again.
I am currently running WIN XP SP2, and FF 3.5.7 This happens on both my home and work PCs, and each is running a different set of add-ons. I'd love to find a fix to this and not just a work around.
