I can confirm the bug. System: Kubuntu 10.04 amd64, upgraded from karmic. Kernel: custom 2.6.32 kernel configured and compiled from ubuntu kernel source package.
I upgraded nvidia-185-kernel-source, and the package requires nvidia- current as dependency, but nvidia-current gave the same error to me.
