John, thanks for confirming what I've been suspecting all along. Careful
with 0.4.x and python2.6: it can hang and/or use 100% cpu. My ppa has a
newer beta that works fine with python 2.6, I'd recommend using that
instead.
Too busy to look into this any further right now, my schedule won't
permit me to work on this for the next two weeks.
