There is an automatic reporting tools which should have been triggered
following the failure. But since this report lacks the information we
need to investigate the problem, as described in the previous comments
we are closing it. Please reopen it if you can give us the missing
information, and don't hesitate to submit bug reports in the future. To
reopen the bug report you can click on the current status, under the
Status column, and change the Status back to "New". Thanks again!

update software tells me to include /var/log/dist-upgrade in bug report. were
is the facility to do this? I will probably have a dysfunctional system after
boot. Not Happy.l
