I do not know your criteria for setting what the importance of a bug is. What I know is that a _huge_ amount of people are having this problem and cannot boot. I usually write in the ubuntu forums, and there are _A LOT_ of posts related to this issue.
Shouldn't this bug be assigned as _CRITICAL_?
