Public bug reported: Binary package hint: ubuntuone-client
On Ubuntu 9.10, Karmic Koala 64 bits build. I'm not currently using Ubuntu One service, so I set preferences to - Never display icon - Never connect on startup Ubuntu One does indeed not connect when I boot my machine, but displays its not so discrete (for my taste) icon. I can make it truly disappear when I right click the icon and visit preferences. Then it seems to get informed that it shouldn't be hanging around. What is expected : When the above preferences are chosen, Ubuntu One should a) Not connect (already OK) b) Not display it's icon never (Shows up after boot) ProblemType: Bug .home.maxim..cache.ubuntuone.log.syncdaemon.exceptions.log: .home.maxim..config.ubuntuone.syncdaemon.conf: [bandwidth_throttling] read_limit = 0 write_limit = 0 on = False .home.maxim..config.ubuntuone.ubuntuone.client.conf: [ubuntuone] connected = False connect = 2 show_applet = 2 bookmarked = True Architecture: amd64 Date: Sat Jan 16 20:40:52 2010 DistroRelease: Ubuntu 9.10 NonfreeKernelModules: nvidia Package: ubuntuone-client 1.0.3-0ubuntu1 PackageArchitecture: all ProcEnviron: LANGUAGE=fr_CA.UTF-8 PATH=(custom, user) LANG=fr_CA.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.31-18.55-generic SourcePackage: ubuntuone-client Uname: Linux 2.6.31-18-generic x86_64 ** Affects: ubuntuone-client (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: amd64 apport-bug -- Icon is present and says "not connected" when preferences are set to "never" https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/508596 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
