It is strange that you have not glitches with MP3 audio file streaming. I agree with you, the 802.11n is designed for the HD video streaming and high bandwidth capability, that's why I chose my router Linksys WRT610N and my stick for that. I have two hypothesis: - the RT3572 linux module has a high processing latency, higher than the windows version, so your audio player can have its streaming buffer to become empty, hence the glitches. - The AAC decoder used by your audio player doesn't support errors or holes during the streaming, hence the glitches.
