Suspend on my Lenovo s10e works generelly better in Karmic than in earlier releases. Issue no. (2), dark display after resume, went away after I upgraded the machine's BIOS to the latest version. As for issue no. (1), user session crashing, I've never seen that happen in Karmic.
However the most serious issue described above, no.
