Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: ubiquity

See the attached window dump.

If I highlight "free space" under /dev/mmcblk1, then click Add... set a
size, type and mount point, then click OK, no new partition appears in
the list. This can be repeated indefinitely with no effect. There
seems to be no way to force creation of the new partition.

Ubuntu lucid development branch
ubiquity 2.1.9
Architecture: armel

Observed in daily-live image http://cdimages.ubuntu.com/ports/daily-
live/20100112.2/lucid-desktop-armel+imx51.img

In combination with
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubiquity/+bug/506971, I can't
do manual partitioning at all, even by pre-partitioning the device with
fdisk.

** Affects: ubiquity (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
