Hi, I have had a Travelmate 8471 for a few weeks now and tryed to get suspend to work, I had flashed the latest Bios 1.27 but suspend didn't work. With Bios 1.27 the CPU Fan of my machine became a lot noisier then before, so I flashed back to 1.02. So don't bother flashing 1.27. I'll try when another Bios comes out and will report back.
