marijkee, this reminds me of something:

~% cat /etc/udev/rules.d/zz_ttyUSB.rules 
SUBSYSTEMS=="usb-serial", DRIVERS=="pl2303", SYMLINK+="Serial"

I had to add this code to make sure my usb serial device always gets the same 
name.
