I'm also seeing this problem. I get this in my dmesg ACPI: Failed to switch the brightness
This is my temporary hack for getting the keys working: http://github.com/zaius/bright It's definitely not perfect. Especially since the laptop can't put the screen to sleep after an idle time. But I don't even know where to start to fix ACPI problems. The default brightness can also be set by using the fn-brightness keys while in the bios. -- Brightness Keys do not work on Lenovo U350 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/414658 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
