Steps: 1. Create a contact in Gmail with a birth date.
2. Add your Gmail contacts to Evolution (add new Contacts, choose Gmail and fill in your username etc.) 3. Find the new contact (created in Gmail) in Evolution - Contacts - Google - YourCalendar In my case, the birth date is missing, consistently in all contacts. 4.
