Hello, if you would be so kind enough to let me know what command/s I need to enter in a terminal window so I can report with enough pertinent data about a "bug" I recently encountered with Karmic Koala.
It's about an old Dell Inspiron 1100 I did a clean install. The Belkin USB wireless I use with it works with my WRT54GL using DD-WRT sp24, but not with the WRT54GL that also has DD-WRT sp24. Aside from different ISP provider I have here at work and at home, and the DSL modem provided by my two ISPs, I am at a loss why the Dell will connect here in my workplace, but not at home. Also, this Dell, whe I use it at home can connect with a wired connection directly to the DSL modem, but not using the ports in the WRT54GL. Yet, it can connect, wired, using the ports in the same brand, same version WRT54GL, in my my workplace. I also have another laptop which is relatively "newer" to this Dell. It used to work fine, wired or wireless, here in my workplace and at home, before I upgraded this laptop from 9.04 to 9.10. Thank for all the time you and everyone else in your team put into this.
