Hello Seb, Actually I experimented the crash while trying to view the DVD from my girlfriend PC.
When I came back home, I repeated the steps on my PC and found that in my case totem just hangs. The ctrl-c you see is the ctrl-c I sent during gdb debugging. I don't know what's the reason for the difference, they are both karmic up-to-date PCs. I can try to reproduce the crash when I have a chance, if you want. I've taken a screenshot of totem during the hang. The only cure is to close it.
