Hello, Same issue here: "Assertion failed in ../../../../../../../../drivers/2d/lnx/fgl/drm/kernel/hal_rs780.c at line: 53". It was due to RAM failures (frequency too high). When issue was solved, not more such crash. Conclusion: run memtest86+ to be sure it does not come from a RAM issue.
