The issue is always true with Karmic. I use the hardy driver to print photos (I've another system installed) but it's really annoying to reboot all the time since my default system is Karmic. Really no idea of what is going wrong, and nobody with the same printer to test and confirm or infirm the issue ? As this is an old bug and is happening for three versions of Ubuntu, I'm very surprised !
