am also experiencing this problem, as described in post seven. I
recently upgraded to 9.10 x64 from 9.04 x64. I had no problems with
wireless in 9.04. My laptop is an Acer Aspire 3810TZ. The wireless
chipset in it is an Atheros AR928X. Considering that I'm using wireless
n in my household, my signals should not be dropping.

I've attached some information about my computer; hopefully this will
help. Next time my connection drops, I'll see if I can find some
information from the logs and post it here.
