Running Ubuntu 9.10 Karmic amd64, my on-board NIC is the Marvell Yukon 88E8056 PCIe. The controller is recognized by both the system and my router, yet there is no throughput or actual connection to speak of. Slapped in an older PCI NIC, disabled the Marvell in network connections, and now I have my network back.
