Dear lzming, it is difficult to answer how but I'd try to describe...
I try the driver downloaded as mentioned earlier, unpacked, make install. I
have a AP configured with WPA encryntion, all connections are done via
networkmanager. The notebook is lenovo 7466-9QG with 4Gb of RAM(Memory modules
are checked with memtest+). BIOS is also updated. Before BIOS update, I could
not even run memtest+ or wireless at all as the notebook reloaded by itself.
Using rtl8192se_linux_2.6.0010.1020.2009_64bit with rtl8192se_IOMMU.patch with
2Gb of RAM - no problem at all, but with 4Gb - the situation alike post 88 from
Xebec wrote on 2009-11-15. I found somewhere to put to kernel mem=4 iommu=off,
cut 1Gb of RAM and then it works... I could play Quake III arena on net more
then 10min...
system is Linux 8doch7121ha38 2.6.32-gentoo-r1 #1 PREEMPT Wed Dec 30 22:44:37
MSK 2009 x86_64 Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Solo CPU U3500 @ 1.40GHz GenuineIntel
GNU/Linux
Could you please, suggest me what info should I provide to help?

ThanX
