Binary package hint: gdm-guest-session
I am using Ubuntu 9.10 on a Lenovo W500. The installation was on a clean
hard drive from the installation CD, followed by the recommended
updates.
Selecting 'Guest session' results in a blank (black) screen. The PC is
unresponsive to keystrokes. The only way to recover the machine is to
perform a hard reboot.
