Binary package hint: evolution
This problem is using feisty with evolution 2.9.92. All worked in
edgey. This is on a dial up connection using pop. I've since switched
to Thunderbird which works just fine. Interestingly, in edgey
Thunderbird would receive mail but couldn't send it. I just tried
setting up an account for a different server and in the process noticed
that it never asked me for a password. I suspect the problem has to do
with this.
