Public bug reported: After I had installed Ubuntu 9.10 on my Aspire 3000 everething was running ok, turning it on and off, when turning it on the ubuntu initialization image and sound appear ok just before the ubuntu workspace. But after I had made the ubuntu update asked by the update manager the Ubuntu start up get some trouble. When the Aspire is in the initialization process the screen remain turned off, I hear the Ubuntu sound of the initialization is finished but the screen is still black, I have to close the monitor lap and open it again then the initial workspace appears.
I'm using the basic package installed with the Ubuntu 9.10 plus the wine package, but before the update everething was ok even with the wine installed ** Affects: linux (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Acer Aspire 3000 with no screen response after upgrade Ubuntu https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/501193 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
