Response to #15 -- I was getting this same error: Errors were encountered while processing: wine1.2 E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)
Instead of running 'sudo apt-get install wine', try 'sudo apt-get install wine1.2'. That worked for me.
