Thanks for the quick response. I don't know anything about auto-builds. However I'm fond of my myth box working, and since this is a combined be/fe, would want to be selective about which packages are installed, as I don't want to break the backend with minimally tested code. I don't mind breaking the frontend, however shared librarys etc may be an issue too.
Just tried it on an frontend, and the bug is the same. This is just a deskop box with mythtv-frontend installed, not a mythbuntu box, so no control center.
