I have this same exact issue on my Dell Inspiron 9300 laptop. When there is an SD card in the card reader slot then suspend fails and the kernel locks up (not even Alt + PrntScrn + b works). Suspend works flawlessly when there is no card present.
I'm not sure what debug info I can obtain so please let me know what you require. There are no entries in dmesg or kern.log relating to the failed suspend. The card reader is an "SD Host controller: Ricoh Co Ltd R5C822 SD/SDIO/MMC/MS/MSPro Host Adapter (rev 17)". ** Attachment added: "lspci.txt" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/37249503/lspci.txt -- [TOSHIBA PORTEGE M750] suspend failure with card in card reader https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/444392 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
