Having this problem on a Thinkpad T30. Terribly annoying. Note that this is GRUB2 (1.97b4). Booting to linux works fine, once I boot into windows and shutdown/reboot, all that shows up on the next boot is the "Loading grub..." line, then the computer reboots. Wash, rinse and repeat endlessly. The PC won't boot without refreshing grub from external media. Any workaround for this?
