I can confirm that this IS an Nvidia issue, just by chance my graphics card died recently and I have had to use my integrated graphics(Intel) until I receive my replacement. The logo now looks as it should with no changes to anything except the reassignment of graphics duties to the motherboard rather than my gpu.
