Well, browser.link.open_external is the setting which had been removed in 3.5.
You want to set browser.link.open_newwindow to "3" (I had 1 there). Also, browser.link.open_newwindow.restriction=2 (I had this already, although it was marked as customized in about:config). See http://kb.mozillazine.org/Browser.link.open_newwindow and http://kb.mozillazine.org/Browser.link.open_newwindow.restriction. Don't know still when and why this changed for me. Sounds like Ubuntu should upgrade user profiles accordingly maybe?! -- firefox-3.5 opens external links in current tab https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/394607 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
