I have the same problem on a Dell Vostro 1520. After several (or one long) boots on Windows, Grub bugs, printing "Grub loading..." and rebooting by itself.
Though I got this laptop without any operating system and thus no software. I installed Windows XP SP3 from one of my personal Install CDs.
