Hey fellas! 64bit works just fine with my NC6400. Audio sometimes stops working only because it goes on Mute or the volume goes to the lowest sometimes, it may a bug or something but after you are completely logged in and turn the Volume up or unmute it, it you should be fine.
Now I'm not sure if x86 was doing that auto-mute or lowest volume bug but please do check your systems if the volume is on mute.
