Solved the problem by downgrading to:
http://download.macromedia.com/pub/labs/flashplayer10/libflashplayer-10.0.32.18.linux-x86_64.so.tar.gz.

** Description changed:

  Binary package hint: adobe-flashplugin

Some Adobe flash controls (play, rewind, etc..) don't work on Ubuntu
  9.10 64-bit.

  For example: http://www.ngohq.com/news/16945-ubuntu-9-10-boots-
  in-10-seconds.html

- The controls aren't working. But it is fine on Ubuntu 32-bit and in
- Windows.
+ Workaround:
+ Grab
http://download.macromedia.com/pub/labs/flashplayer10/libflashplayer-10.0.32.18.linux-x86_64.so.tar.gz
 and extract it to /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins.
