I believe ati has released the 8.34.8 driver which they report fixed the resume from suspend issue. However, it is listed as not compatible with the 2.6.20 kernel, hence I cannot build the kernel modules using the standard procedure at this point. Hopefully this will be resolved and perhaps it can then make it into the feisty repositories. Also, I cannot get the 8.28.8 to build on feisty and the package from edgy does not work.
