Thanks for your reply. I just tested by pulling out the telephone jack  
while Ubuntuone was updating a file, but it resumed automatically after I  
reconnected the line. Not sure if there has been an update somewhere that  
cured the problem, or whether the problem initially was related to that a  
lot of files had to be updated, or to my unfamiliarity with Ubuntuone  
(have had no such problems with Dropbox though). I then had to manually  
set Ubuntuone to connect after a disruption in the connection. Ubuntuone  
still doesn't automatically start with a connection on startup (Ubuntuone  
is loaded on startup and connect on start is set to automatically) even  
when there is a connection. I then just manually set Ubuntuone to connect  
and after that it seems to be OK.
