Also worth noting: when affected controls are supposed to be enabled,
mouse cursor does turn from arrow to finger on mouse-over.  When control
is clicked, the click animation (e.g. 3-D button depressed) occurs, so
the clicks are registering at least that much.

Yet another note: occasionally (usually the first time a flash component
runs after reboot) a button will work, but thereafter, neither it nor
any other clickable flash ui component is responsive.
