Daniel T Chen, I've been seeing this problem for almost 3 months on all machines I've installed Karmic under a French locale, including both Intel and Amd hardware. I thought I had provided everything, but in some of your posts it's hard to figure out who they're addressed to. If there's anything missing in the logs I provided at the time I filled out the report, could you please point it out to me?
Alternatively, you could just reproduce it yourself by booting the Karmic Live CD under a French locale, then installing under that locale, since I can't really imagine how it is hardware related when the issue is there all the time for me.
