Public bug reported: Binary package hint: pulseaudio
I have two soundcards, onboard motherboard codec for external HiFi and PCI au8820 (amplified) for old PC speakers and microphone to use voice communication and system sounds. With older (8.04/8.10/9.04) releases with ALSA it works just fine, I've selected target soundcard in application and it was great. In 9.10 a new sound server appeared and I decide to play with it. So, it's good when it works, but one of the soundcards is dissapearing from PulseAudio in random moment of time. Killing pulseaudio process is helping a lot but for the next issue. How can I debug/add more information on it to help improve PulseAudio? ** Affects: pulseaudio (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: au8820 pulseaudio -- Pulseaudio permanently loosing second soundcard https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/495368 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
