Binary package hint: thunderbird
I assume thunderbird 3 will soon be merged into lucid. The current new
email notification in thunderbird 2 (Mozilla New Mail Icon) does no
longer work on Thunderbird 3. However this is a good opportunity to
integrate the new mail notification with libnotiff. The current
notification system (both in TB 2 and 3) is oddly out of place (in the
lower right corner).
In addition the applet already used by evolution for a new mail
notification should be also implemented in TB 3.
